We’re here to help you hit the ground running and make this the best year yet for constituent communications. Indigov is rolling out new features that give offices greater ability to:

  • Produce branded emails, design-forward newsletters, and website content on the fly
  • Personalize communication to constituents, and do so at scale
  • Establish a central process for the review and approval of templated responses
  • Plan communications and schedule email and newsletter sends in advance

We’ve made improvements to the tools your team uses daily such as the Print Queue, Response Approval Queue, and have made it easier to execute common tasks like creating batches and auto-responses in the Ticket Console.

We are also excited to introduce drag and drop email and newsletter templates and have added a new product line: websites. Together, these tools will help you communicate with constituents with greater precision and more effective content.

Branded emails and newsletters that are as polished as you are

Indigov’s new drag and drop templates allow non-technical staff to create engaging emails and newsletters in a matter of minutes. With our updated Bulk Mailer, you can schedule email and newsletter sends in advance. Draft and approve newsletters on Friday afternoon and schedule them to send on Monday morning.

Staff can now further personalize emails by adding customized salutations using a constituent's first name or prefix and last name, and then insert those same values in the body of the email to create a personalized touch that keeps constituents engaged. Embed surveys in emails to quickly take the pulse of the district and automatically grow your subscriber list. Indigov emails and newsletters are “mobile first” and look great on all devices, browsers, and email clients.

Websites that put your constituents first and can be updated in minutes

Your website is the billboard for your office and your primary public-facing tool. Indigov websites can be updated in minutes without the need for technical staff. Add or update website copy with ease, spin up new pages for special projects or emergency messaging, and embed unique forms to grow your list of subscribers.

Our websites make it easy for constituents to find the information that they are looking for. Form fields are mapped directly to Indigov, eliminating manual data entry.

Print mail and edit constituent data on the fly

The Print Queue now clearly displays the responses that have already been sent to print. From the History tab, staff can now easily view previous print jobs and reprint when necessary. Comments related to a particular case can also be easily exported and printed. Use the Current tab to quickly edit constituent data, such as an address.

Response Approval Queue marries your manual and digital review processes

Staffers can now print mail responses in any stage of the review process directly from the Response Approval Queue. This allows senior staff to review responses with pen and paper, without holding up the overall review process. Staff can print response drafts and get edits the old fashioned way while keeping the entire review workflow digital.

Create a new tag the moment that you need it

The Ticket Console now allows staff to create new tags directly within a ticket. When staff notice an influx of activity that requires a new tag, they no longer have to exit the Ticket Console to create a tag.

Move freely between automations and eliminate duplicates

Have you ever needed to switch an auto-batch trigger to an auto-response trigger? Now you can! If there is an existing auto-batch trigger and an auto-response trigger is created (or vice versa) we deactivate the former trigger and apply the newly created trigger. Highly visible error alerts will also now appear for any newly created triggers that duplicate or conflict with existing triggers.
